Columbia Falls

Upcoming:

• Nothing this week. The next meeting related to the city’s Land Use Plan is expected to take place on Thursday, March 12, 2026, where the Planning Commission will consider the future land use map and recommendations.

• There will then be meetings/public hearings about the plan on April 13, April 23, May 4, and May 18, 2026 (final adoption date).

Last Week:

• Nothing last week.

Kalispell

Upcoming:

• Kalispell City Council Work Session, Monday, March 2, 2026 following the regular council meeting at 7:00 p.m., Kalispell City Hall (201 1st Ave E, Kalispell).

  • Continued discussion of the draft Land Use Plan.

Last Week:

• The Kalispell City Council completed a work session about the city’s draft Land Use Plan. This discussion will be continued tonight (March 2).

Whitefish

Upcoming:

• Whitefish City Council, Monday, March 2, 2026 at 5:30 p.m. and 7:10 p.m., Whitefish City Hall (418 E 2nd St, Whitefish).

  • Work session beginning at 5:30 p.m. for review of the Land Use Element of the draft Land Use Plan.

  • Public hearing for adoption of the 2045 Vision Whitefish Community Plan (Land Use Plan)

    • We anticipate that this hearing will be continued to March 16, 2026. We anticipate final adoption of the plan on that date.
